In January 2013, Joe D. Driver assumed his current position as Regional Vice President for Dismas Charities Inc. Mr. Driver began his career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons in February 1987. Mr. Driver has executive oversight for the following Dismas Reentry Centers:

Mr. Driver was promoted to the Senior Executive Service (SES), on July 23, 2006.
On June 8, 2010, Warden Driver retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons with (29) years of Federal Law Enforcement service. From May of 2011 to January 2013, Warden Driver joined the GEOGROUP as Warden. Mr. Driver is a member of the American Correctional Association, National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice (NABCJ), North American Wardens Association of Wardens and Superintendents (NAAWS), the Blue Knights, a former member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation Standards Committee, and also served as the Department of Justice Representative board member for the Maryland Correctional Commission. Mr. Driver served our country as a Criminal Investigator and Military Policeman in the United States Army and a lifetime member of AMVETS. In February 2016, Mr. Driver received his Certified Correctional Executive Certification from the American Correctional Association.
