As the 2025 International Community Justice Association (ICJA) conference in Denver has drawn to a close, I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of our attendees for your participation. Your presence, engagement, and insightful contributions are what truly make ICJA conferences a remarkable success. The energy and passion for community justice that fills the halls of our sessions are always inspiring, and the connections forged here will undoubtedly strengthen our collective efforts.
This conference also marks a significant transition for ICJA, as I step into the role of President. I am deeply honored and excited to lead this incredible organization, building upon the tremendous legacy left by Phil Nunes. Phil's dedication and leadership have been instrumental in ICJA's growth, and I look forward to working with all of you to continue advancing our mission.
I am particularly excited about the opportunities ahead, and I hope you will join me in Columbus, Ohio, for the 2026 ICJA conference! We are already planning an engaging program that promises to be just as impactful and collaborative. Mark your calendars (8/30/2026-9/2/2026) and prepare for another opportunity to connect, learn, and contribute to the vital work of community justice.

In January 2022 the International Community Corrections Association (ICCA) transitioned to the International Community Justice Association (ICJA) with a vision to change the public perception of justice-involved individuals, end the overuse of incarceration and correctional supervision, and achieve a more just society.
